April comics / cómics de abril

April was a very special month! I remember, years ago, how I would talk with my friends about the historical day in which Action Comics # 1000 would be released. Although in recent years I’ve lost my interest in the Man of Steel I still enjoyed reading this giant-size special that includes some of the best writers and artists of the comic industry. Batman Creature of the Night continues to surprise and delight me, and the new Kick-Ass is starting to grow on me. The Further Adventures of Nick Wilson #4 was a great issue. American Gods, Diablo House and Astro City were really good, but if I had to choose, my favorite issue of the month would be The Highest House #3. And now without further ado here are April comics as per solicitations:

Batman Creature of the Night continúa sorprendiéndome y deleitándome, y el nuevo Kick-Ass empieza a mejorar. The Further Adventures of Nick Wilson #4 estuvo estupendo.

• Portada variante DAVE GIBBONS (1950)

AMERICAN GODS: MY AINSEL #2

ASTONISHING X-MEN #8

ASTONISHING X-MEN #10

Con Honor Guard, The Hanged Man y más.

BATMAN CREATURE OF THE NIGHT #3

FURTHER ADVENTURES OF NICK WILSON #4

HIGHEST HOUSE #2

HIGHEST HOUSE #3

RICK VEITCH THE ONE #3
Guerra superior.

  1. It's amazing it takes 80 years to get 1000 issues.

  2. Well, actually you get 960 issues in 80 years, but there was a time in the 80s when Action Comics became a weekly publication. Still it is quite impressive!

    1. Was that also one they made biweekly when they went back to the old numbering with Rebirth?
