September comics / cómics de setiembre

In September I had the opportunity to enjoy the work of two of my favorite British writers: Neil Gaiman with his classic (and long out of print) Miracleman run on and Alan Moore with his impressive take on Lovecraft, in fact, Providence # 4 was the best issue of the month. Rick Remender and Sean Murphy gave me a most pleasant surprise with the first issue of Tokyo Ghost. I must also praise Brubaker (Velvet) and Vaughan (We Stand on Guard), who continue to write some of the finest comics I’ve seen from Image lately. Although technically it isn’t a September release, Midnighter # 1 was amazing, by far the best new title I’ve seen from DC in 2015. And now, without further ado, here are September comics as per solicitations:

MIRACLEMAN BY GAIMAN & BUCKINGHAM #1

MIRACLEMAN BY GAIMAN & BUCKINGHAM #2

PROVIDENCE #4 (of 12) (MR)
