June Comics / cómics de junio

I received some really impressive comics last month, such as Cinema Purgatorio, American Gods, Silver Surfer and Shaolin Cowboy. And I must admit I was surprised by the new comic book titles that came out in June, like Marvel’s Defenders and especially Diablo House (by the extraordinary Spanish artist Santiperez). However, my favorite new series and also the best issue of the month is Sacred Creatures, by Raimondi and Janson; captivating script and amazing art. And now, without further ado, here are June comics as per solicitations:

AMERICAN GODS: SHADOWS #4
(W) Neil Gaiman, P. Craig Russell (A) Colleen Doran & Various (CA) Glenn Fabry. During an overnight stay at their home, Shadow awakens to a visit from the third of the Zorya sisters: Zorya Polunochnaya. The Midnight Sister's advice is ethereal and strange, yet vital . . . and Shadow can't seem to separate reality from the dream world. The Hugo, Bram Stoker, Locus, World Fantasy, and Nebula Award-winning novel and upcoming Starz television series by Neil Gaiman adapted as a comic series for the first time! o A Starz TV show! 'Russell's lyrical layouts bring Gaiman's visual, vivid prose to life like no other artist.'-Comic Book Resources
