August Comic Books / Cómics de agosto

After 6 years in California I left the Golden State and moved to Kentucky in August. Still getting things organized here but, of course, that hasn’t prevented me from reading a spectacular selection of comic books.  Blood Squad Seven and Get Fury continue to be tremendously good. The first issue of Plastic Man No More was very promising. Batman Dark Age and Nice House by the Sea continue to impress me. But if I had to choose my favorite issue of the month that would be Fantastic Four #25. My biggest regret is not buying this series when it started coming out, because I had never heard of Mr. North, and damn it, he’s a brilliant writer and his Fantastic Four stories are amazing, month after month. And now, without further ado, here are August comics as per solicitations:

BATMAN DARK AGE #5

Después de 6 años en California, dejé el Estado Dorado y me mudé a Kentucky en agosto. Todavía estoy organizando las cosas aquí, pero, por supuesto, eso no me ha impedido leer una espectacular selección de cómics. Blood Squad Seven y Get Fury siguen siendo tremendamente buenos. El primer número de Plastic Man No More fue muy prometedor. Batman Dark Age y Nice House by the Sea siguen impresionándome. Pero si tuviera que elegir mi número favorito del mes, ese sería Fantastic Four #25. Mi mayor arrepentimiento es no haber comprado esta serie cuando empezó a salir, porque nunca había oído hablar del Sr. North, y maldita sea, es un escritor brillante y sus historias de los Cuatro Fantásticos son asombrosas, mes tras mes.
