May comics / cómics de mayo

Unlike previous years, this time I got 6 FCBD titles, and in general I enjoyed them all, but my favorites were 2000 AD and Betty & Veronica (I was truly surprised to see how promising is this new title from the Archie universe). American Gods and Silver Surfer were very good, but the best issue of the month is the Wicked + Divine 455AD one shot (Gillen really hit the ball out of the park with this one!). So now without further ado here are May comics as per solicitations:

AMERICAN GODS: SHADOWS #3

FCBD 2017 2000 AD SPECIAL

A diferencia de años anteriores, esta vez recibí 6 ejemplares del FCBD y en general me gustaron bastante, pero mis favoritos fueron 2000 AD y Betty & Veronica (realmente me sorprendió ver lo prometedor que es este nuevo título del universo de Archie). American Gods y Silver Surfer están muy bien, pero el mejor cómic del mes fue Wicked + Divine 455AD (Gillen realmente dio en el blanco con esta historia autoconclusiva). Así que ahora sin mayores preámbulos aquí están los cómics de mayo:

    Pues bien, este mes no coincidimos en nada, salvo en el secret empire, un evento que vengo leyendo y me está gustando moderada mente, la “coherencia” grafica que manejan las series actuales de comics, donde un mismo arco puede rotar de dibujante de un número a otro, es, al menos para mí, uno de los mayores errores de las editoriales actuales de comics (refiriéndome a Marvel y DC).
    Lo bueno es que este mes lei, al fin, el primer volumen de los Runaways de Brian K. Vaugham, los 18 números que conforman el primer volumen son muy entretenidos y frescos, donde el desarrollo de los personajes y de la trama van de la mano y te deja con ganas de más. Definitivamente uno de mis comics favoritos. Espero con ansias poder leer el vol. 2

    1. Hola: Estoy de acuerdo en que esos constantes cambios de artistas es una muy mala costumbre actual. Runaways es estupendo, me alegra que hayas leído el primer volumen. El segundo es muy bueno también.
