January Comics / cómics de enero

Only 4 comics in January? Well, all I can say is that there will be more next time. Bendis continues to do a good job with the Legion of Super-Heroes, The Dollhouse Family is extraordinary, and this issue of Punisher Soviet is my favorite of the Ennis miniseries. But if I had to choose the best comic of the month then it would be Marvels X # 1, Alex Ross and Jim Krueger have done it again! And now, without further ado, here are January comics as per solicitations:

DOLLHOUSE #3
(W) Mike Carey (A) Peter Gross, Vince Locke (CA) Jay Anacleto. Childhood ends. Children grow up. And young Alice is now a mother herself, raising her daughter alone in 1990s London. But the Dollhouse has never forgotten the promise that she made. The Dollhouse knows where she's gone. And so does Jenny, the ghost of the girl who died in her orphanage...

LEGION OF SUPER-HEROES #3
(W) Brian Michael Bendis (A) Ryan Sook, Travis Moore (CA) Ryan Sook. You knew there was no way Jon Kent was going to leave his best friend behind! Welcome to the future, Damian Wayne! (This is such a terrible idea!) Also, meet the new Legionnaires as they head to a secret undercover mission on the first man-made planet: Planet Gotham. Every page of this new DC epic plants seeds and ideas that will blast out across the DC Universe for months to come! All this, and Monster Boy is on the loose!

MARVELS X #1
(W) Alex Ross, Jim Krueger (A) Well-Bee (CA). David has a problem. He lives in a world of monsters that would love to devour him. He's the last boy on Earth. The last human being on Earth. And these creatures that see him only as prey, they're his former neighbors. He has one hope: to get to New York. To get to where Captain America and the rest of the heroes are. Alex Ross and Jim Krueger combine their abilities with artist Well-Bee to tell a very uncanny prequel to the legendary EARTH X trilogy.

PUNISHER SOVIET #3
(W) Garth Ennis (A) Jacen Burrows (CA) Paolo Rivera. There will be blood on the streets.

LEGION OF SUPER-HEROES #3

PUNISHER SOVIET #3
Habrá sangre en las calles.

  1. I haven't read the original Earth X trilogy so a prequel might not make much sense.

Blood in the streets in a Punisher book? Say it ain't so! 😁

    1. Well, the miniseries is still being published but I'm sure it won't take you long to see a Spanish edition.
