December comics / cómics de diciembre

 A dozen of comics helped me celebrate the end of 2020! Very quickly Doctor Doom has become my favorite ongoing series, I’m enjoying it so much! Marvel and Marvels Snapshots are always quite good. My favorite comic of the month was Strange Adventures #7, probably the best title DC has published in years! And now, without further ado, here are December 2020 comics as per solicitations:

AMERICAN JESUS NEW MESSIAH #1

MARK MILLAR and Netflix have teamed up to give you the perfect Christmas gift-the sequel to one of the most beloved Millarworld projects since the dawn of time. The twist is that you don't know what it is, and like all good gifts, you're in for a nice surprise when you open the delivery boxes on December 18th. Can you guess what Santa's going to bring you??

BOYS DEAR BECKY #7

(W) Garth Ennis (A) Russell Braun (CA) Darick Robertson. Butcher comes clean about why he's doing, while Annie helps Hughie understand a few truths of his own. It's time for the Boys to clean house- which for Julian Baxter Pugh and the Skorchers, might just be very bad news indeed... 

CIVIL WAR: MARVELS SNAPSHOT #1

In the heart of the Civil War event, a human story unfolds. A S.H.I.E.L.D. agent, doing his best to do the job with honor - but is that possible anymore? A young, low-level super hero, trying to help his neighbors - but that's not even legal any more. The two come together in a story that'll test their commitment, ideals, hopes and dreams, by Hugo-Award-winning writer Saladin Ahmed (Miles Morales: Spider-Man, The Magnificent Ms. Marvel) and artist Ryan Kelley (Lucifer, Stranger Things). DOCTOR DOOM #2

Now vulnerable and without his usual strength, he must keep a low profile on the streets of New York, or else risk being captured again. DOCTOR DOOM #4

(W) Christopher Cantwell (A) Salvador Larroca. As his homeland is invaded by foreign adversaries, DOCTOR DOOM continues to be hunted, and on his own. But his conviction strengthens as he further embraces a possible future where he becomes the savior of all humankind. In order to confront those who have set him up as a global criminal, Doom will fight his way through the doors of the spy organization A.I.M, where he'll battle his would-be assassin TASKMASTER, and match wits with one of the biggest brains in the universe... M.O.D.O.K. Meanwhile, a forgotten and bereft hero of the past will suddenly rise on the geopolitical stage...

DOCTOR DOOM #5

(W) Christopher Cantwell (A) Salvador Larroca (CA) Aco. As Victorious and Silver Sable hunt for Doctor Doom in New York, he grows more obsessed with a vision of saving the entire world. He'll track down the woman he's seen as his future wife, but struggle to rectify the man he is with the man he thinks he'll become. At an emotional peak, Doom is ambushed by the Blue Marvel, just as Victorious and Sable join the fray, along with Symkarian conspirators out to usurp Doom's reign. LEGION OF SUPER-HEROES #11

All wrapped in a framing sequence painted by Alex and scripted by Steve Darnall! Rated T

NORSE MYTHOLOGY #3

(W) Neil Gaiman, P. Craig Russell (A) P. Craig Russell & Various (CA) P. Craig Russell. On Loki's suggestion, the gods of Asgard make a deal with a master builder to build a great wall-and the price is great: Freya, the sun, and the moon are at stake, and it seems like the gods may lose the bet.

STRANGE ADVENTURES #7

(W) Tom King (A) Mitch Gerads (CA) Evan Doc Shaner. Adam Strange was right! In this issue guest-starring Batman, the Pykkts have come to Earth, and they plan to claim the planet as their own. ¡Una docena de cómics me ayudaron a celebrar el final del 2020! Muy rápidamente Doctor Doom se ha convertido en mi serie favorita mensual, ¡la estoy disfrutando mucho! Marvel y Marvels Snapshots siempre son bastante buenas. Mi cómic favorito del mes fue Strange Adventures # 7, ¡probablemente el mejor título que DC ha publicado en años! Y ahora, sin más preámbulos, aquí están los cómics de diciembre del 2020:

AMERICAN JESUS NEW MESSIAH #1

Este es el regalo de navidad perfecto: la secuela de uno de los proyectos más queridos desde los albores de los tiempos.
