November Comics / Cómics de noviembre

After spending Thanksgiving in Morgan Hill, not too far from San Jose, I read last month’s comics. The Boys and Legion of Super-Heroes were very good, and the FCBD books were quite entertaining, especially Richard Fairgray’s Monster Showcase. Girl by Milligan and Fegredo is an amazing comic that I must review one day, I would choose it as the best I’ve read this year, but since it’s a reprint (from the 90s) it wouldn’t count as the best of 2020. In any case, my favorite comic of the month was Avengers: Marvels Snapshots #1, Barbara Randall Kesel writes a really touching story. And now, without further ado, here are November comics as per solicitations:

AVENGERS: MARVELS SNAPSHOT #1

Luego de pasar Thanksgiving en Morgan Hill, no muy lejos de San José, leí los cómics del mes pasado. The Boys y Legion of Super-Heroes estuvieron muy bien, y los cómics gratuitos del FCBD fueron bastante entretenidos, especialmente Monster Showcase de Richard Fairgray. Girl by Milligan y Fegredo es un cómic increíble que debo reseñar algún día, lo elegiría como lo mejor que he leído este año, pero como es una reimpresión (de los 90s) no contaría como lo mejor del 2020 En cualquier caso, mi cómic favorito del mes fue Avengers: Marvels Snapshots # 1, Barbara Randall Kesel escribe una historia realmente conmovedora. I only got a few comics in August but I promise there will be more in September! The Boys Dear Becky and Strange Adventures continue to amaze me! And I love the new hardcover edition with Neil Gaiman stories. I’ve always been a Young Avengers fan, and Zdarsky and Oliveira really hit a home run with Emperor Hulkling, my favorite issue of the month! And now, without further ado, here are August comics as per solicitations:

BOYS DEAR BECKY #3

(W) Garth Ennis (A) Russell Braun (CA) Darick Robertson. Hughie fills Annie in on some of the CIA's anti-supe tactics in the years since the Boys were last around, but she has some pressing questions of her own.
