In August I received many great comics, such as Sacred Creatures, The Shaolin Cowboy and Astonishing X-Men. I was also very excited to get my hands on The Legion of Super-Heroes Silver Age Omnibus HC, I’m reading only a few pages per week, so it’ll last me for a while. I also enjoyed Marvel's reprints of classic Kirby stories. Busiek’s Astro City was impressive, but if only by a slight margin, I’d say the best comic of the month was Silver Surfer # 13. And now, without further ado, here are August comics as per solicitations:

En agosto recibí muchos cómics estupendos, como Sacred Creatures, The Shaolin Cowboy y Astonishing X-Men. Fue emocionante sujetar en mis manos el The Legion of Super-Heroes Silver Age Omnibus HC, estoy leyendo sólo algunas páginas por semana, así que me durará bastante. También disfruté las reediciones de Marvel de historias clásicas de Kirby. February may be the shortest month, but certainly there was no shortage of comics supply! It was great to finally receive Byrne’s Alpha Flight Omnibus as well as Alan Moore’s Another Suburban Romance. There are some quite good Marvel monthly series but once again I was surprised by the quality of Invincible. My favorite comic of the month is Jason Aaron’s Unworthy Thor #4. Aunque febrero sea el mes más breve, eso no significa que hubiese escasez de cómics. Fue estupendo recibir por fin el Alpha Flight Omnibus de Byrne así como el Another Suburban Romance de Alan Moore. Hay algunas series mensuales de Marvel bastante buenas, pero una vez más me sorprendió la calidad de Invincible. Mi cómic favorito del mes es Unworthy Thor #4 de Jason Aaron.
