February Comics / Cómics de febrero

Last month’s comics included Captain America and the always interesting Avengers Twilight. Wonder Woman and Flash continue to be good. Count Crowley is starting to get better. And Battle Action was quite a peculiar Garth Ennis project. Our Bones Dust is really one of my favorite current titles, although this month I'll say my favorite comic was Animal Pound And now, without further ado, here are February comics as per solicitations:

ANIMAL POUND #2

Meanwhile, a local scientist is trying to resurrect the dead through some less-than-ethical methods. One of these people is getting results and it sure isn’t Jerri. Los cómics del mes pasado incluyeron a Captain America y el siempre interesante Avengers Twilight. Wonder Woman y Flash siguen bien. Count Crowley está empezando a mejorar. Y Battle Action fue un proyecto de Garth Ennis bastante peculiar. Our Bones Dust es realmente uno de mis títulos favoritos actuales, aunque este mes diré que mi cómic favorito fue Animal Pound. February comics / cómics de febrero

In the shortest month of the year I got the shortest amount of comics, but they were all really good. Danger Street and Where Monster Lie continue to surprise me. And the conclusion of Superman: Space Age and Human Target were great. Local Man was an outstanding first issue, and a strong rival for the spot of best comic of the month, which goes to the magnificent Miracleman: Silver Age # 4. And now, without further ado, here are February comics as per solicitations:

DANGER STREET #3

(W) Tom King (A/CA) Jorge Fornés. The repercussions of Atlas the Great's death play out worlds away as two old enemies become allies in the fight to save the Multiverse. SUPERMAN SPACE AGE #3 

(W) Mark Russell (A/CA) Mike Allred. THE END IS NIGH! As red skies reign, Superman does what he can to make the world a better place for as long as it continues to exist. En el mes más corto del año recibí la menor cantidad de cómics, pero todos estuvieron buenísimos. Danger Street y Where Monster Lie me siguen sorprendiendo. Y las conclusiones de Superman: Space Age y Human Target fueron estupendas. Local Man fue un primer número sobresaliente y un fuerte rival por el puesto de mejor cómic del mes, que va para el magnífico Miracleman: Silver Age # 4. DANGER STREET #3

January Comics / Cómics de enero

I have to say I’m thrilled with my January comics. First a shout out to this beautiful hardcover edition of America: Lost & Found, one of the best Judge Dredd stories of all times! I really enjoyed the first issue of Where Monsters Lie, and the second issues of Danger Street and Night Club were good. The conclusion of Batman Fortress was surprising and I absolutely loved The Human Target # 10, which was my favorite comic of the month. And now without further ado here are February comics as per solicitations:

AMERICA LOST & FOUND

Tengo que decir que quedé encantado con mis cómics de enero. Primero, un saludo a la estupenda edición de tapa dura de America: Lost & Found, ¡una de las mejores historias de Judge Dredd de todos los tiempos! Realmente disfruté el primer número de Where Monsters Lie, y los segundos números de Danger Street y Night Club fueron buenos. Month 2, of 2022, and I only got, that’s right, 2 comics. So obviously it’ll only take me 2 minutes to talk about them! I was delighted to see Peter Milligan and Mike Allred returning to the pages of the most extravagant mutant team ever, The X-Cellent (formerly known as X-Statix, formerly known as X-Force). And once again my favorite issue of the month was Human Target #4!

February Comics / Cómics de febrero

In the shortest month of the year I had the chance to read a lot of amazing comics! I got 2 classics X-Men: God Loves, Man Kills and Dave Gibbons’ The Originals. Millar is doing a good job with Prodigy, Magic Order and Sharkey. Jason Aaron favorably surprised me with Conan the Barbarian and Thor. Crypt of Shadows and Journey Into Unknown Worlds were fun. Die #3 was extraordinary, but if I had to choose my favorite comic of the month then that’d be Oliver #1. And now, without further ado, here are February comics as per solicitations:

En el mes más corto del año tuve la oportunidad de leer muchos cómics estupendos. Empezando con 2 clásicos X-Men: God Loves, Man Kills y The Originals de Dave Gibbons. Millar está haciendo un buen trabajo con Prodigy, Magic Order and Sharkey. Jason Aaron me sorprendió favorablemente con Conan the Barbarian y Thor. Crypt of Shadows y Journey Into Unknown Worlds fueron divertidos. Die #3 fue extraordinario, pero si tuviera que elegir mi cómic favorito del mes sería Oliver #1.
