March Comic Books / Cómics de marzo

With barely half a dozen comics in March, I still can’t explain why it took me a while to read them. I was glad to see Milligan and Allred back in X-Cellent, Danger Street continues to be good, Doctor Strange was quite interesting and the first issue of Clobberin’ Time had fantastic art. In terms of art, the best this month was clearly The Ambassadors # 1, Millar and Quitely are always an amazing creative team. And now without further ado, here are March comics as per solicitations:

AMBASSADORS #1 (of 6) (MR)

Con apenas media docena de cómics en marzo, todavía no puedo explicar por qué me tomó tanto tiempo leerlos. Me alegró ver a Milligan y Allred de regreso en X-Cellent, Danger Street sigue siendo buena, Doctor Strange fue bastante interesante y el primer número de Clobberin' Time tiene arte fantástico. March Comics / cómics de marzo

In March, instead of traveling for spring break, I stayed at home and read comics! Good vacations, indeed. For the first time in years, half of the comics this month came from DC, including the final volume of John Byrne’s Superman. The Eternals and the Human Target continue to be really good, but my favorite issue of the month was, once again, The Nice House on the Lake. And now, without further ado, here are March comics as per solicitations: 

ETERNALS #10

(W) Kieron Gillen (A/CA) Esad Ribic. The Eternals are on a pilgrimage together. Well, depends on who you ask - for it's not so much a pilgrimage...and more like breaking and entering into Avengers Mountain. But what the Avengers don't know won't hurt them… right?

ETERNALS THE HERETIC #1

Thanos is now ruler of the Eternals! But believe it or not...he's actually not the worst leader that the Eternals' society has ever seen. No, that honor belongs to someone even more horrific. HUMAN TARGET #5

March was great not only because of spring break but also because of the amazing comics I got. First of all, I wanted to talk about Marvel’s Conan the Barbarian Omnibus, a beautiful edition with the entire Barry Windsor-Smith run! Fantastic Four and Thor were good, but Invaders was better. Conan the Barbarian # 4 was surprising, definitely the best one in the series so far. Oliver and Die are among the best this month, but if I had to choose my favorite comic, then it would be the first issue of Spider-Man: Life Story. And now without further ado here are March comics as per solicitations:

Marzo fue un mes estupendo no solamente por las vacaciones de primavera sino también por los asombrosos cómics que recibí. Antes que nada, quería hablar de Conan the Barbarian Omnibus de Marvel, una preciosa edición con toda la etapa de Barry Windsor-Smith. Fantastic Four y Thor van bien, pero Invaders estuvo mejor. Conan the Barbarian # 4 fue sorprendente, el mejor de la serie hasta ahora. Oliver y Die estuvieron entre lo mejor del mes, pero si tuviera que elegir, mi cómic favorito del mes sería el primer número de Spider-Man: Life Story.
